I am not a big fan of Christian women's literature. However, this was one of the most practical Christian books I had read in a long time. The book takes you through the stories of Mary and Martha to take life application from their different personalities. It is realistic about our world and obligations but doesn't want anyone to settle for less than "the better thing" Jesus speaks of in Luke 10.
