I am so hooked on this series, and this book, which is the 6th, totally lived up to my expectations. The mystery is complex, the ongoing romantic subplot is compelling, and the historical detail is excellent. I love the H&H and can't wait to see how their relationship progresses in the next book.
If you are new to the Sebastian St. Cyr series, you really should go back and read them in order or you won't understand some of the cryptic references or the motivations of the characters in this book.
5 stars.
