This book was my latest attempt at finding a Christian book with aspects related to the Amish. It was one of the better ones I've read, but it was also mostly about the experiences of a former Amish girl now living in the city.
I found the premise (an Amish girl who secretly hoards fashion magazines and dreams of being a fashion designer who runs away to the "English" world) to be a bit far-fetched, but I did like the main character. It made me wish I had friends like hers.
