Wearing His Brand
Lyssa McDonough has sure made a mess of things this time. She finds herself tangled in the barb wires and the only way out seems to be to accept the help of a Brandon Tynan, her brothers best friend. The problem is, is that Lyssa is stubborn and independent and the last thing she wants is the man that she has been secretly in love with her, to rescue her.

Brandon Tynan has been lusting after his best friends little sis for as long as he can remember, so when the opportunity strikes for him to play knight in shinning armor you can be he is going to take it. Besides he promised her brother that he would look after her. And take care of her is exactly what he is going to do.

The sexual tension that these two characters had from the beginning was amazing. They are both stubborn, bull headed, and totally hot for each other. It is up to Lyssa to stop at nothing to prove that she can be woman enough for a tough, hot rancher to take.


Slow Ride
Maggie McDermott is a recent widow with a craving only a man can ease. Good thing her hot, and younger, ranch hand is available. The only obstacle is that she does not want to be seen as another Mrs Robinson.

Danny Tynan has been head over heels in love with Maggie for 7 years. His heart stops at the sight of her, his groin tightens at hearing just her voice. When the opportunity comes to see her pleasuring herself, it was a temptation that Danny could not over come. But nothing, not even seeing that, will stop his desire he has to be with her. All it takes is convincing her that their age difference is not big deal.

This story was, in my opinion, the best of the three. It was so hot I am surprised my eyes did not start smoking after reading it! The sex scenes were so detailed I felt like I was watching porn!


Straight up Soldier
Suki Reese is in a bad position. Her ex has gone off the deep end and is trying to kill her so that no one can be with her. The last thing she needs is some big man trying to boss her around and protect her. She takes the protection that he offers, but did not realize that it came with a hefty dose of sexual tension.

Mac McDonough is an ex-marine who is used to taking orders for sergeants, not from women. Suki Reese is not what he bargained for when he offered to protect her. But regardless of her mouth and her ability to distract him with a removal of clothing, he has one thing to do. That is keeping her safe from the psycho who is after her.

Suki and Mac reminded me of my and my husband, I just wish our sex was as good as theirs was. This story was hot! In the midst of the threat that Suki faces they still found love in each other.

DOWN IN TEXAS I an anthology that has three stories. While each story is separate they are all connected together. None of these women were the kind that is needy and clingy. No, they were strong, independent, intelligent women. And the men, well you know what they say Everything is bigger in Texas and that goes for these guys hearts as well as, well you know. Mrs Devlin is now a must read author on my list. She has earned her place on my calendar of books to be released.
