A friend loaned this book to me as a good vacation read. I was heading overseas and needed something to read on the plane. I would label this as a contemporary love story. Anglophiles will enjoy the book as the setting is London. It was a fun story and an interesting perspective as it covered 20 years in the lives of two very close friends (Em and Dex, Dex and Em). We get to see the two characters evolve and learn from their life experiences. I even shed a tear or two while on the plane. I enjoyed the book and if you enjoy novels about relationships you will enjoy One Day. It is an easy read and starts off in an interesting way that will not bore you.
