This book was really a pretty indepth look at life inside of prison. Even though it is dated between 1987-1989, the people he talked to and the issues they deal with are still happening.
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know what it's like to live in another person's shoes, in a world that's so much more isolated, violent, and dangerous than our everyday activities.
