A careful and detailed telling of the case of the psychopathic doctor who took advantage of his position in a small town by molesting and in some cases actually raping the women of this Wyoming community. The author Jack Olsen, is one of the best of all true crime writers. I have found that in his books, nothing is left out, but nothing is overly dramatized either.
In the case of Dr. John Story, it is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that this despicable sociopath took advantage of the childlike naivete of the LDS women in Lovell, WY. by using his skills and their amazing trust and respect for him as a man, and a physician, to perform sexual acts upon them, up to and including rape, without them even realizing what was going on. Sounds impossible, but one would have to read a lot about the Mormon women and their faith in order to understand how this could happen. It took many years for someone to speak out, and when they did all hell broke loose! This man should have gone to prison for life. To find out how it all came to its end, you'll have to read the book. It's very good. It also teaches a strong lesson about human nature.
