I didn't read this one. I bought it for my (then) 15 year old son. The synopsis reads: "The sleepy, Eastern Washington wheat town of Antioch has suddenly become a gateway for the supernatural, from sightings of angels and messianic images to a weeping crufifix. Then a self-proclaimed prophet mysteriously appears with an astonishing message." This book is of the Christian genre. I believe it is similar to the very popular "Left Behind."
