The original painting of Mona Lisa was stole in 1911 by the great grandfather of Joey Peruggia. He and his girlfriend Maria discovered the painting in a hidden room. Joey want to return it back to Paris to keep their family reputation. Maria knew someone in Paris that will take care of it but it end up being a roller coaster adventure in Paris. They were held hostage. A lot of secret reveal of the families and the painting. Joey got a homeless teen involved and he saved their life at the end.

This book is a fast pace action. I really enjoy reading it. I cant say I haved read an action pack historical thriller mystery book. I have PTSD and had to take my time reading it. I learned more of the history of Mona Lisa and the secret of Leonardo DaVINCI
