This book has the detailed premise behind the low-carb Atkins diet, as well as some recipes and ideas for doing the diet. It is a bit complicated of a read in the first several chapters, but it does a great job of explaining *why* the low-carb diet will help a sedentary person lose weight and *how* to do it the Atkins way. I recommend this for those looking for information about the Atkins diet in particular, or low-carb diets in general.
