Patterson books have gotten stale over the last year or so, due primarily to the co-authorship. it is rare to read a book of his that does not have multiple tactical errors, whether it is weaponry or vehicles. But this book was for me a breath of fresh air. The two story-lines are creatively intertwined and provide just the right amount of suspense. James Patterson and co-author Howard Roughman hit a home run with this book. The two story lines, one of a serial killer killing newly weds on their honeymoon and the second story line of a serial killer associated with one of Agent O'Hara's old cases killing men with the same name are merged quite successfully with the introduction of fellow FBI Agent Sarah Brubaker. Good read for the beach, rainy afternoon or just a quick read for the weekend.
