MY THOUGHTS
I don't have extremely high feelings towards this series so far, but I did like this book and think it was a great sequel.
Spencer, Aria, Emily, and Hanna all have their own secrets that are spiraling out of control. What's worse it that a person called 'A' keeps sending them messages and threats to unleash their secrets. Some secrets that only Alison, their best friend that went missing years ago. And her body has just been found. All four of the girls have to deal with their own drama-filled lives along with trying to figure out who 'A' really is and they are getting very
First off, I read this as an audiobook and I would just like to complain how the narrator for the audiobook had a very young voice. Other than that, there weren't really that many problems. I'm actually very surprised that I was able to separate all four of the girls personalities and stories. Granted, I was able to do this with the last book, but in audiobooks all the characters are usually voiced by the same person. It's also very interesting because some of the characters aren't exactly likeable, but I still got absorbed into their dramas.
This book series has a very strong mystery within it, along with the drama. I can't help but keep going to figure out what secrets the girls are hiding and, yes, who 'A' is (but, come on, why would that be announced in only the 2nd book?).
IN CONCLUSION
Overall, this was a great sequel. It's surprising because of how I usually avoid books with drama, but it has become a bit of a guilty pleasure because of that. I am very curious about what will happen next, so I am definitely continuing.
