Shooting a film in France, an actress turned sleuth is on location costarring with death. Everything's coming up roses for off-Broadway actress Alice Nestleton when she lands a part in a major motion picture. With her two finicky felines and the three Abyssinians owned by producer Dorothy Dodd tagging along, she's ooh-lalaing her bon chance all the way to Provence. Her dreams are dazzled by potential stardom, until this film-noir goes dark with violent death. It looks like Dorothy Dodd has taken her final curtain call.
