This was the worst in the series so far. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, used their fracking head to think. Instead, it was everybody reacting and allowing their emotions to rule. If those emotions had some basis that we could connect with, it might have been excused. Instead, all I could think of was that these so called "rational" adults were acting like total idiots, ALL THE TIME!
This whole side story about Leesil chasing his mom just really annoyed me. It didn't make sense. For years and years, Leesil drank and forgot. Now all of the sudden he HAS to go rescue her? It didn't make sense. And Magiere and Wynn going along with it? Into certain death in a blizzard? I gritted my teeth and finished the story.
Now that this "side quest" is done, I hope the main story can continue. However, black coils and dreams aside, there needs to be some more concrete evidence of this bad guy. Even if it is just orcs waiting to be killed.
