Murder in the quiet town of Hidden Springs, Kentucky could not be a reality! Not until one morning when a dead body is discovered on the courthouse steps.
It was very enjoyable following Michael Keane, deputy sheriff, around town and watch him try to find out who murdered the victim. There are a lot of interesting, quirky characters to choose from and Michael shows us how he pinned down the murderer. The excellent plot kept the pages turning until the very shocking outcome and surprise ending. The book is a very light, easy read that is very well written. There are a lot of humorous laugh-out-loud scenes throughout which makes me look forward to reading the next book in the series. I would highly recommend this book to those who love cozy mysteries.
