Keira Kelly is some kind of shapeshifter/necromancer/clairavoyant changeling. She is going through the Change which will determine which supernatural entity she will become for the remainder of her very long immortal life. Her cousin on the other hand is completely human, an outcast, and dead by suspicious means.
Keira has hooked up with vampire Adam Walker who recently moved to town and purchased the resort outside of town. Suspicous things are happening in town and seem to come right back to Adam's new ranch. Keira and Adam must join forces to figure out why her cousin has been murdered and what exactly is going on at his ranch.
This is book one of a trilogy. It was ok but I just couldn't connect with any of the characters and really don't care what happens to any of them. A sequel (or two) is definitely out for me.
