Very well written, interesting book! One can quickly sense why it is considered a classic. Will resonate with anyone on a spiritual path, who is ever looking for the truth, ever working on oneself. Seemingly intuitively attuned to Cayce, Sugrue artfully gets into this modest, humble man's head and heart.

We accompany Edgar through his entire life, sharing his thoughts and feelings, his yearnings and self-doubt, from his country boyhood, through awkward teenage years, to young adult with a 'weird' talent that scores of more 'learned' men seek to debunk and dismiss, and finally to spiritually mature being, at last confident that his unique abilities are "of God."

If you are like me, you will come away with a full heart, encouraged in your own quest, glad to know of someone who 'did it right,' who despite all, stayed true to their inner voice, their sense of faith, throughout his entire life; and the truly amazing effect that this can have in the world.
