Third and final entry in the Liveship Traders trilogy, this book was somewhat painful to read on many levels, because I knew I'd be saying goodbye to these well-loved characters. I did like the way it ended, though, so I can't complain, even though the ride there was sometimes heart-breaking and tumultuous. I can't begin to explain all the different relationships, family and political ties and mystical creatures in this book so I won't even try. Suffice it to say, if you liked the first two books, you're gonna love this one!
