Second book in Pine Hollow, the young adult spin-off from Bonnie Bryant's bestselling Saddle Club Series. Lisa's now seventeen, Stevie and Carole are sixteen (well, Carole should still be fifteen by Saddle Club canon), but they still enjoy riding at Pine Hollow. Unfortunately, boyfriends, new friends, divorced parents, and a terrible car wreck that occurred in the first book have all changed their friendship. Solid second novel, the last one written by Bryant herself before ghostwriter Catherine Hapka took over. It sets the pace of the series for lots of introspection about the events that have happened, even if lots of new events don't actually happen.
