I heard about this book on the Cranky Middle-Manager podcast, which had an interview with the author. The book is even better than the speaker, although I was disappointed to see it was a fictional account of implementing the technique rather than based on case studies. Definitely worth reading, a short book - about 1 hour of large print, very narrative based with a few pages for reference at the end. Try it!
