For me, this was a nice step up from Harrison's last book, Cackle. I really enjoyed this one. The story was fun and heart-warming yet sometimes gross and violent. Nice little mix-up. For most part I liked the twist that was added into the werewolf genre. The werewolf's blood being different was a bit too weird for me. Almost as bad as sparkling vampires. Other than that, it was a clever twist. I really liked the main character, Rory. Most of the other characters I liked as well except for Rory's sister, Scarlett. Her constant whining and self-absorbency got on my last nerve. There were a few good parts with her but not many.
The ending concluded nicely. Now just need to sit back and wait for her next book, Black Sheep, to come out.
