I guess there aren't a lot of reviews because by the time you get to the 5th book in a series, you already know if you're going to like it.
I like it!
Some series lose steam after a time as the characters become stale or the writer can't think of fresh, interesting situations to put them in. That is most definitely not the case here. This series just keeps getting better and better.
I didn't realize I'd left my copy of this book on the table at the La Puente Restaurant in Ogden until much later in the day. When I called, no one had turned it in. Sigh. Somebody may be enjoying reading my copy. I had to come back to PBS and order a new one to get to finish the story. It was well worth it.
Dixie Hemingway is still developing, still coming out of her shell after the death of her husband and daughter, still starting to live a more full life. It is great to be going along with her as this happens.
