The Borrowers (tiny people living in the walls of the house and making a comfortable life by borrowing and inventing) are driven from their comfortable home by the rat cather. They have to learn to survive in that almost mythical place the "outside." Fun for friends of borrowers and a tantalizer for those just meeting these most capable little beings.
