From 1998, Deputy DA Joshua Jin tries to win the confidence of his stone-silent client, a troubled teen who trusts no one. This is a tightly-plotted courtroom procedural, with a fine assortment of multi-cultural characters. The defense attorney is, of course, expensive and brilliant. I'm sure Jin triumphs in the end... but does he get the girl? (sorry, can't remember...) My liner note rates this Four Stars, "well worth it."
