The Romanov Bride is the third in Robert Alexander's not quite series on the Russian Revolution. It showcases a member of the ruling house of Russia who is, it seems, made of different stuff than the rest of her family. Set against the beginning of the revolution, the tales of a Russian peasant who works for the revolution and a princess who seeks to understand it intertwine and end, for each, the only way a true Russian tale can.
