This book was very boring to me...I didn't even make it halfway through. I actually enjoyed the movie more with its metaphors of rebirth and second chances; however, the book is nothing like the movie. Although it beautifully describes Italy and is wonderfully descriptive, it is not a book that held my attention. I need a story. I don't want to read pages and pages of descriptions.
