This book contains information from 8 quilters complete with their fascinating behind-the-scenes commentary on their designs. Featured are Cheryl Greider Bradkin, Ami Simms, Helen Kelley, Merikay Waldvogel, Margaret J. Miller, Marta Amundson, Flavin Glover, and Jan Myers-Newbury.
I have had this book for 4 years. I never tire of looking at it. It gives a general view of how to. Great for being inspired. At the time I bought this book I was interested in fabric dying. Jan Myers-Newbury gives wonderful description on how to dye fabric in gradations of colors. Ami Simms section on "Improving Your Quilting Stitch", has good ideas. Marta Amundson's work is exciting. She quilts nature and animal motifs in the background of her quilts.
