Suki is in some ways a typical CLAMP offering. The protagonist is a cute, slightly androgynous girl who is somehow unknowingly involved in a mysterious conspiracy. Also typical of CLAMP, the main character's love interest is a much older man, her teacher. While some may like the series' cutesy feel, the main character's extreme innocence makes her come off as borderline mentally challenged, and her relationship with her much older teacher comes off as more "creepy pedophile fodder" than anything else. Still, the art clean and simple, and some CLAMP fans may like this odd little series.
