I enjoyed this book. It's the story of a single mom & her teenage daughter. The mom comes across as overprotective, but as you read about her background you understand why.
There is an ICK FACTOR in the parts where the daughter is with her teacher...I couldn't wait to get out of those portions...definitely creepy.
A good read, I've enjoyed everything from Strout so far.
