Let me first say that this is a classic fit for the cozy genre. You have your small town girl, and a missing person. No guts or gore or major crime scene. Although the main character is not a suspect, she has suspisions of who might have anything to gain from the person gone missing. Its a very light hearted mysery that is perfect for anyone who appreciates a cozy mystery that does not have and sex, vilence or curse words in the book.

In a nutshell, I enjoyed this book to an extent. Georgiana seemed to be a real girl, with a real job, a nagging mother and a somewhat boyfriend. She spends her spare time looking for answers as to why the town libarian went missing after Georgie found the womans broach in the pipe of a sink. I wouldnt extactly call Georgiana a "sleuth" per-se because it is unclear if the librarian is dead or not. All we really know is that she is missing, and Georgiana has a heck of a time convincing others that something is just not right. Theres a small list of suspects involved, including the houskeeper, the lawyers, her accountant, and the real estate agents who are out to sell the womans house. I really enjoyed Georgies friend Sue as a character.

I will continue the series when Im in the mood for a light, quick read
