This is book 5 Of the original American girls collection.One summer in 1904 Samantha, Grand Mary and Admiral Beevis go to their country home and decide to go out on the water. Samantha is afraid because both her parents drown in this same place. When there is a boat accident, can Samantha help? Nice clean book. I read this book and I love the girls like Samantha and the historical details given. These books are not just for children.
