James Frey brings us into the world of recovering addics of all types. After hitting bottom both literally and figuratively, James is checked into a residential drug and alcohol treatment facility with a reputation of being able to help addics dry out or detox and return to the outside world. Through out the book, we meet many characters and become familiar with their difficultis. At the end of the book there is a list of characters and what happened to them once they left the clinic. After reading this book I feel I have a better understanding of what addics go through as an abuser and during recovery.
