Hook Runyon has had a bad life. He lost his arm, his fiance and once promising future.He is a detective for the Oklahoma railroad his friend " Spark Dugan" is run over by a train but the details do not add up. There is no blood on the scene, and many witnesses were there but saw nothing? Why would a harmless coal salvager have army goods from a nearby POW camp in the middle of the Depression? What sinister force is at work here? Something just does not seem right? Who is behind this?
