A delightful seqel to Five Children and It. Features a cranky sandfairy (you've never met this kind of fairy before), 5 children left to their own devices in early 1900s England and lots of adventures. Edith Nesbit is now a famous author of yesteryear - perhaps best known for creating The Boxcar Children series. This book gives good insight into the dynamic, forceful, beyond her generation woman this author was.
