Dr. Abby Dolan follows her fiance, Josh Wyler, to Patience, CA, where he has a job with a giant manufacturing plant Colstar. When undidiagnosable patients start showing up in the hospital, Abby begins to suspect Colstar might be responsible, especially when John starts having headaches and pain-driven episodes of manic, even violent behavior. Then Abby finds herself playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse. This was a good emergency room drama filled with knife-edge tension. Suspense fans will enjoy the read.
