I love cozy mysteries and especially enjoy finding new ones. I stay away from psychics, witches, and the undead written into mysteries, but I read that the magical part of this book was not heavy-handed. Wrong. A lot of the book was all about magic, spells, and witches; in fact, without witchcraft, the mystery would have been solved. So much for good mysteries with a strong, smart woman heading it all up. I got so dog-gone tired of hearing about the magic. Loved every other part of the story. Such a disappointment.
