Have always enjoyed Southern literature and this was no exception. Well written and engaging, I thought the tragic ending was rushed. She is an author whom I will watch and try again. Maybe this is the wrong time to be bringing up the Civil Rights movement, as racial tensions and violence continue to flare, and the political climate is abysmal.
