It opens with a weathered barn in a planted field, closed up tight, with a rainbow overhead. There are a couple of photos in the fog, a few in winter, but none in the rain. There none with animals or people.
The editor should have obtained photos of the barn raising she attended.
Actually, today barns are being torn down so as to recycle the weathered lumber for juse by interior decorators.
