This was the first book by Nicole Baart that I have read. I believe I have found a new author! I really liked her writing style and even appreciated the fact that the chapters flipped between two of the main characters, even flipping from present to past. It actually made me want to keep reading! Her character development made me feel for Meg and Lucas, rooting for them, feeling torn when they were torn, confused when they were confused, etc. Excellent job! The reason this book only received 4 stars is because I didn't completely understand or care for the main plot twist, I was a bit disappointed in why what happened happened. But I loved the rest of the book so much that I'm going to give this author another shot!
