I got this book for my birthday last year and was excited to finally get around to reading it. This ended up being a very well done science fiction manga that I enjoyed a lot.

Watching Keiji puzzle out what was happening with time loops and learn how to turn this to his advantage was interesting. It reminded me of the movie Groundhog Day, but more violent and science fiction themed.

I really enjoyed Keiji as a character; he changes and grows so much as the novel progresses. I also enjoyed the Full Metal Bitch aka Rita. The two have an interesting relationship together that enables them to take on the Mimics in a very intriguing way.

I loved that not only was this manga full of mystery, action, and aliens but also had some heart to it as well. It was an intriguing concept and the engaging characters really made it fun to read.

The illustration is really well done too and this only added to my enjoyment of this manga.

Overall a fantastic science fiction manga. This is an intriguing idea that really came alive because of the awesome characters and the way they grew and changed throughout the story. I would highly recommend to fans of sci-fi manga.
