Enjoyable for caretakers and non-caretakers alike. Humor, wit, wisdom and experiences you can relate to, abound. Written like it's from a good friend to you. Empathy, compassion. Not just anecdotal - the author talks about trailblazing better programs for the disabled via local and state government routes as well. Characters are well-developed; you can develop an understanding for each of them.
