Amazingly good. I read through it in one long night when I was having trouble sleeping. The setting in the Australian outback is like nothing I'd ever heard of, a harsh environment that is not conducive to human existence. All the characters are significantly flawed, even those who seem rather harmless at first, but in ways that the reader can easily sympathize with.
