This book was really long in the tooth so to speak in the beginning, you don't get into the story until the last part of the book. You are left wondering, hanging, frustrated and sometimes annoyed at the lack of detail in the story. So much to work with and sad to see she didn't run with it instead of running it into the boring abyss. Will give book 2 a try but won't wait for it to get more in depth.
