"White roses symbolize innocence."
Audrey Bloom and her cousin Liv own a flower shop in Ramble, Virginia. Audrey uses the Victorian language of flowers to create her one of a kind bouquets and there is a rumor that her wedding flowers will guarantee a happy marriage. Audrey jumps into sleuth mode when a childhood friend is accused of murdering he fiancé.
I love, love , love the language of flowers! I was so excited when Aubrey started explaining the different meanings to a nosy reporter. This is the start of a good solid series. The new baker in town, Nick, is an excellent foil for Audrey. I enjoyed the interaction between her, her cousin and the workers in the floral shop.
I can't wait to read the next book.
