Some real laugh out loud moments with great characters. I like the fact that Emma was rejecting Charles for a legitimate reason. She can be trying at times because she has the ability to be a real brat, but I think it fits the way she grew up as everyone's caretaker. There is enough intrigue to keep the story interesting although my only complaint is that MacKenzie can be too wordy.
I was surprise to find how much I enjoy Meg, Emma's sister. I read "The Naked Gentleman" first (Meg's story) and hated her in that. She was such a ninny but she is very level headed here and quite calm.
Good, fun read. Nothing too heavy or serious.
