I had high hopes for this book since Mira, Kellan, and Nathan were some of my favorite characters in the series. Also as the series progressed Adrian's writing was improving. However it seemed she has reverted back.
I didn't finish the book because it was really boring and slow. The characters interactions were weak and forced. Instead of introducing characters as the story enfolds, Adrian almost just list them in paragraphs one after another. Adrain kept repeating the same information over and over again. Good if you have no short term memory but really tedious otherwise.
There are no hints of who Kellan, Mira, and Nathan used to be as children. They could have been any harden Breed characters in any books. I wished Adrian spent more time with character development then with endless battles.
I'm very disappointed in this book. I'm not sure I will continue on the series.
