My 20-month-old daughter and I love the Carl books in general. I particularly like this one because there are several very subtle details that we didn't spot for the first several reads of the book that make it more interesting each time it's read. As with the other Carl books, I also love how each adult reads this book to a child differently. I highly recommend the Good Dog Carl series of books.
