Ari has always felt like a freak. With teal eyes and hair that is silver, no matter what she does to it it always returns the next day. Growing up in the foster care system she has always wondered about the mother who abandoned her. What she finds was what she never prepared for. Her mother's death when she was an infant and her mother's cryptic warning to run.
I was skeptical if i really wanted to read this book. But once I started reading I couldn't put it down. Despite figuring out who Ari is and what is her families curse I was still enthralled. Very much looking forward to the second book in this series
