Good story line, lots going on. I enjoyed Jana and Zane both individually and together. I liked the idea of having a supernatural that can remove powers and "give" them to someone else. That was different. I liked that Jana embraced her fire and realized it was an integral part of her. It was nice Dee and Erin made appearances.
I think the most disappointing thing is I was hoping Pak and Tony would have their own stories too. The way this ended I felt the setup was there. I looked at the next (and last) book, but nope, neither are listed as a character (in fact, I'm not sure how the Night Watch universe plays into it from reading the blurb).
