Its been awhile since I read a book and ended up disliking it. There are so many problems with this book. Such a good premise, but executed terribly. First, NOTHING is explained. Events happenen that are confusing but the story just progresses without explination. We get background on the main characters family and bits of hers. The rest is a mystery. I also found the descriptions hard to follow. When you read a book, your mind formulates the characters and surrounding if what you think they would look like, based on descriptions. I had such a hard time doing it. I just couldn't figure out what the author was trying to portray. I never got a clear picture in my mind. About page 200, I was frustrated. There are character twists that are not explained and the main character has figured out what's going on, but doesn't share it with the reader. Its hard to get accros, and I'm probably not exposing it well enough. Sadly you would have to read it to understand its flaws. I'm unwishlisting the next two books because I have zero interest in wading through them.
